Self-service Kiosk solutions →Machine Vision

Digital Signage solutions →Frequently Asked Questions
Will it really drive an 8K screen?
Yes. 8K is the maximum display resolution the OCTIMUS X supports, and the same output drives 4K panels. In the OCTIMUS range only the STEAM matches it, at 4K/8K.
Does it have the ports a kiosk needs?
RS232, 4G and USB are on the board, so the machine can talk to a payment or dispenser controller and stay online without a wired network. If you also need RS485 or TTL, the KEL panel PCs carry RS232/485/TTL, and the I/O can be adapted as part of an ODM build.
OCTIMUS X or OCTIMUS B for our job?
Both are fanless industrial mini PCs. The X has a Cortex-A76+A55 CPU, a 6 TOPS NPU and 8K output; the B has a Cortex-A55 CPU, a 1 TOPS NPU and 4K output. Take the X when there is AI work or an 8K panel involved, the B when the job is playback and control.
